Privacy Policy
Effective August 2026 · What we collect, who processes it, and the choices you have.
Account data (email, name, sign-in identifiers), billing state (subscription tier and status — card numbers never touch our servers), your product choices (watchlists, datasets, presentations, feedback you submit), and usage records (pages viewed, features used, and standard request logs) that we use to operate and improve the service.
We run on a small set of processors, each receiving only what its job needs: Firebase (authentication), Stripe (payments and subscription state), Supabase (our database), Vercel (hosting and site analytics), Resend (the emails we send you), OpenAI (which processes published article text and the prompts and queries you type into AI features — never your account or billing data), and People Data Labs (the licensed source of professional contact records). We do not sell your personal information.
The contacts feature surfaces professional contact information about industry figures, licensed from third-party providers and shown to paying subscribers on request. If a record is about you and you would like it suppressed from the service, email us at the address below and we will process the request against our provider data promptly.
Product emails (digests, alerts, and account lifecycle messages) honor your preferences: every one carries an unsubscribe link, and you can manage categories from your account's email preferences at any time. Operational messages about your account or billing may still be sent while you hold an account.
We use first-party session cookies to keep you signed in and to remember region and interface choices. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.
We keep account data while your account exists and for a reasonable period afterward for records and legal compliance. You can request a copy or deletion of your personal data, or correction of anything inaccurate, by emailing max@rebarradar.com. We will verify the request and respond within the timeframe the law where you live requires.
When this policy changes materially we will announce it in the product before it takes effect. Continued use after the effective date means the updated policy applies.
